Description |
Redwork sampler quilt top of a 4 x 4 block formation with Turkey red embroidery.The blocks average 16.75"square and are of white cotton muslin with red cotton embroidery of various motifs. The motifs include baskets, a small girl, a star and variations of flowers embroidered in cross-stitch. All blocks are machine pieced with white thread and there is a stamped trademark which reads: "BROIDER CRAFT No. 211" located on the first block on the second row. The edges are unfinished and there is no backing fabric attached. |
