Description |
A child's handstitched cap made out of a light blue cotton dimity with a white bud print. The crown has an opening at the back with a blue cotton drawstring inserted into the seam of the opening, cinching the crown closed. There are two 11.00" long cream silk satin ribbons attached to the inside base of the crown. |

Worn by Ellen Gehret (1939 -1993) as a young girl. This piece was probably made by her mother. They resided in Montgomery County. |
