Description |
A child's handstitched dress made out of a brown cotton with a green, yellow and blue floral print. The dress has a high rounded neck with a back front hook and eye closure but most of the hooks and eyes are missing. The shoulders are dropped with self-piping at the seams. The sleeves are set into the arm syce,but are in such poor condition the shape of the sleeves is unclear, other then they are long. The bodice section is lined in white cotton and there are three stays with an insertion of an unknown material. At the waist there is self-piping and the waistline is straight in the back and pointed in the front. There is a pocket on the proper left side of the skirt, made using a printed white cotton. |
