Description |
Variable Eight-Point Star Quilt comprised of a 4 x 5 block formation. Each block averages 10.25" x 10.00" and consists of an applied star made of yellow cotton with a red print and red (faded) cotton with a red dot print, applied to a green (faded) cotton with a yellow floral print. Separating each block is a 2.75" wide sashing made of red (faded) cotton with a yellow dot print and cornerstones made of yellow cotton with a red heart print and zigzag quilt stitching. The surrounding border is 11.00" wide and made of red cotton with a white swirled print and has diamond cross-hatching and a 3/8" wide foldover binding from front to back. The entire quilt is handstitched with white thread and a SPI of 4-6. The back is comprised of a black cotton with a pink/peach (faded) floral and dash print. |
