Description |
A child's jacket made out of a cream wool crepe. The jacket has an attached collar with rounded lapels that have been trimmed with three bands of cream silk soutache. The jacket has a modified double breasted closure with all six pearl buttons attached, although only three are functioning. The sleeves are long and straight and set into the arm syce, with a foldover cuff also trimmed with the three bands of soutache. There is a a high empire waistline, and located underneath the seam on the lower half of the jacket is a smocking detail with cream silk French knots at each point. The upper half of the jacket is lined in cream cotton and the jacket is machine constructed with hand finishing details. |
