Description |
A man's manufactured frock coat made out of black wool. The coat has a notch lapel, trimmed with silk tape binding. The coat has a high double breasted closure comprised of four buttons (one buttons is missing). There is an angled slit pocket on the proper left chest. The long sleeves are set into the arm syce with a button at each cuff. At the back there is princess seaming that runs the length of the jacket with two decorative buttons at the waist which flank the center slit. The inside is lined in black silk faille with padding inserted into the shoulders. The sleeves are lined in a cream striped silk. There is an inside right chest pocket with a maker's tag attached that reads: "Mathias DESIGNER & MAKER OF MEN'S CLOTHES CLEVELAND." The jacket is machine constructed with hand finishing details. |
