A fragment of an floatwork coverlet. Woven using natural cotton and red and blue wool. The predominate motif is a variant of the checkerboard/plaid woven pattern. |

There is a paper tag attached that states "Bradley" Hall and "Mrs. Clara Kern." There is no information about the maker or origin of this piece, except that it came out of the family of Clara Kern (1919-2010), of Kutztown, Lehigh Valley. There is also no information about Bradley Hall. |
