Description |
A manufactured men's uniform shirt made out of a taupe cotton The shirt has a high neck with a folded down collar with pointed lapels. There is a center front button closure, comprised of six buttons, starting at the high neck. There is single chest pocket on the proper left side. The sleeves are set into the arm syce and are long and straight with a button at each cuff. On the inside the neck there is stamped number, "T-2853" and a size stamp: "15 1/2 x 34" followed by probably a style number, "8405-292-9466." Located at the bottom inside of the shirt is a second set of stamps, the number " T-2853" and the maker's stamp which reads "SHIRT, MAN'S COTTON POPLIN, 4 oz. TAN SHADE No. 46. STAND-UP COLLAR SOUTHERN MFG CO. NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE 18 OCTOBER 1957, DA-36-243-QM (CTM)-1263 MIL-S-14025 (I) (QMC) 9 SEPTEMBER 1954 MC & TSA" |
