Description |
A ladies wedding headpiece. The piece is structured around a headband wrapped in cream silk satin. Attached to the band is a green artificial silk wrapped wire with peach colored wax flower buds, green artificial silk leaves and peach artificial silk flowers. A black elastic chin strap is attached to either side of the band. There are also fragments of netting which indicates this headpiece was once attached to a veil. The headpiece was worn with a wedding dress, see object number XC.01.28. |
