Description |
A ladies handstitched cap attributed to Moravian origin and called a "haube." The cap is comprised of black silk satin with a hand beaded floral design using white beads. The sides of the cap consist of wide panels of black silk moiré, with a matching top center point and pointed flaps on the side. Attached to the outside of the brim are two black velvet ties, although one is ripped. The cap is lined in a cotton burlap with a brown cotton twine drawstring inserted into the inside of the base of the crown. |
