Description |
A ladies shirtwaist made out of white cotton lawn. There is a high stand up collar comprised of white cotton crochet lace with stays attached for support. The same lace is inserted to created a frame for the pointed front panel that also features satin stitched embroidery and eyelets. There are also pintucks on the shoulders that fan out. The sleeves are long and set into the arm syce with groups of pintucks running the length of the sleeves. At the cuffs there is also an insert of the crochet lace and a bobbin lace trim attached to the inside of the cuff. At the back there is a six button closure and a drawstring at the lower waist with cinching of the fabric. The shirtwaist is machine constructed with hand finishing details. |
