Description |
Variable Eight-Point Star Crib quilt comprised of a 4 x 6 block formation set on point. Each block averages 5.250" x 5.375" and is comprised of either a star made of printed orange, printed green and red cotton, or a double pink printed cotton block. The wide surrounding border is made of a printed green and yellow floral cotton is only on the right, left and bottom edge with half blocks at the top. The entire border has diamond cross-hatching and an applied 1/4" wide binding of the same ground fabric. The entire quilt is handstitched with white thread with a SPI of 5. The back is comprised of a strippy pattern made of seven panels of individually sewn vertical strips of red cotton with black and white printed flower and orange checked cotton with red and black stylized flower print. The red strips average 5.75" wide and the peach strips range from 7.50"-8.50" wide. |
