Description |
Variable Eight-Point Star quilt in a 6 x 6 block formation set on point. Each square averages 6.5" and consists of either a pieced star made of yellow (faded green) cotton and red (faded) cotton with a black and white floral print, or a plain white cotton spacer block with an appliquéd corner blocks of the same printed cottons used in star blocks. The surrounding inner border is 3.00" wide and made out of the same yellow cotton with diagonal quilting stitch. The outer border is 6.00" wide made of plain white cotton with swirled quilting stitching and a 1/8" wide foldover binding from front to back. The entire quilt is handstitched with white thread and SPI of 7-9. The back is made of plain white cotton. |
