Description A ladies skirt comprised out of a black silk faille reminiscent of silk moiré. The skirt is gored with a self-fabric waistband and a hook and eye closure at the back. There is gathering along the waist seam creating fullness to the skirt. There is also a hook on the outside of the back waistband which indicates that a matching bodice would have been worn with this skirt. The skirt is lined in black cotton with black wool tape binding at the hem. The skirt is machine constructed with hand finishing details.
